FAQ

If we sign up for a review will we have to take the extended support?

No extended support would only happen if the school chooses that option after the review.

If the inspector recommends extended support do we have to accept it?

No schools always retain the final say in accepting or rejecting extended support. They can do so without giving any reason. We recognise that schools have many priorities and computing is only one of these.

Would the inspector subject manager relationship replace the school line manager relationship?

No extended support is about having access to a supportive source of information and guidance not replacing school management procedures.

Can extended support be cancelled part way through?

Schools can choose to pull out of the relationship at any time but after the first termly review there wouldn't be a refund.
